Style to Die For

Nature’s Party

So I invited my friends over this past weekend for our annual do something different party. It was great because we all brought something to the party that we knew others hadn’t tried. Allie brought some natural moisturizers and oh my goodness. Everyone kinda chuckled when they saw it…. it she’s the one laughing now. We all underestimated the natural products. We all felt that they wouldn’t compare to our normal products. Oh NO! I am forever converted. I love natural products. Thanks Allie for forcing me to try something new!

Do you have a style to die for? Are your clothes so beautiful that people talk about it and even mention your fashionista ways in the yearbook? I’m trying to write a new blog about cosmetic fanatics and people who are trying their hardest to start a new fashion trend. If you think you are one of these people, e-mail me!

Heels and Jeans

I’d love to own a pair of cute heels that would look great with jeans. I always seem to buy jeans that are way too long for me (damn being short!), and then they drag on the ground, which makes my pants look terrible. For this reason, cute heels would make my outfits look amazingggg. I may try and get some tomorrow. Only problem is I’m on like a $30 budget. HELP!

Style is Great

I have a style to die for. My mom told me that yesterday. I was feeling a bit down because people were making fun of my attire yesterday at school. Just because I was unique, I was viewed as different, which resulted in rude remarks. My mom made me realize that it doesn’t matter if you look somewhat off. It is important that you feel good about yourself.

Hair and Makeup

Do you agree that hair and makeup make the girl? Is style and fashion the only two components? I disagree. I saw a girl at school yesterday with amazing jeans and a cute top. Of course these styles were great, but her hair was a mess. Plus, her fake eyelashes were a tad messy. They looked like they were about to bite the dust. Therefore, I have made my point. Fashion may look classy, but with bad cosmetics, you are nowhere.

Pressure

Filed under: Clothing, Cosmetics, Dress, School, Style — heatherblush @ 1:31 am

Honestly, I feel a lot of pressure lately. I have been trying my best to dress to impress at school, and it has only gotten me attention that I do not want. Now I feel like if I go to school one morning in sweats or just a big sweatshirt, I am going to be looked down upon. Why would I ever want this type of reputation? The girl who always “dresses up,” and has “great fashion sense.”

I do still want to go to school for fashion. I just don’t want to be the type of person who has to wear something specific, because people expect that from her.

I hate being casted, molded, and looked down upon. I want to break out of my shell, and not wear a dress every single day. Not to mention, it gets expensive going to the mall every Friday for a new outfit.

Whatever.
